Job Title: Medical Director, Diagnostic Sales
Location: Charlotte, NC
Hours: 40 hours per week.
Salary: USD $100000 / Year

Their broad portfolio of products in the fields of diagnostics, laboratory equipment, hospital equipment, transfusion and laboratory automation have helped contribute towards the research and development of new medicines and procedures for improved healthcare worldwide. In their own development center, the organization actively advance innovations from the initial idea through to the finished product.
This position is responsible for developing, directing and execution of a strategic plan for the clinical components of the organization’s diagnostic product line including a focus upon the blood collection systems.
Base Salary: $100K+ bonus plan.

Education Requirements: Doctoral Degree or Equivalent in Medicine, MS/MBA, PA, CNP
Experience Requirements: Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Skills: Strong experience in diagnostic or clinical sales environment, including blood collection. Ability to develop both scientific and clinically relevant presentations, seminars and educational programs to business partners, clinicians and internal staff.
Qualifications: Among other qualifications consistent with a diagnostic sales role, the successful candidate should be able to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Additionally, the candidate should be able to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style along with the ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to C-level listeners. In the course of developing business, this individual will need to be able to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project Management software and Inventory software. Additionally, the candidate needs to be able to write reports, create business correspondence, present information (including PowerPoint presentations) and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers
Travel/Sales Territory: This position requires up to 50-70% national travel and the ability to operate a motor vehicle. Occasional international travel may be required.
