Job Title: Medical Sales and Marketing Representative - Pharmacy Services
Location: Chicago, IL
Hours: 40 hours per week.
Salary: USD $50000 - 75000 / Year
Our Client, a Long Term Care Pharmacy, is seeking a Sales and Marketing Representative for a regional sales role to seek out and build relationships with Long Term Care (LTC) (Nursing Home) facilities through telephonic, cold calling and face-to-face meetings. This fast paced, regional sales role includes building and managing a database of potential clients within the assigned region. In this role, the representative will develop relationships with LTC facilities and Nursing Homes across Central and Southern Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. The successful candidate for this role will collaborate with senior leadership to launch and follow a sales and marketing plan to promote the pharmacy products and associated pharmaceuticals. The role will include keeping an inventory of marketing materials to bring to conventions and one-on-one meetings.
Salary: This position offers a base salary (which starts at $50K and goes up depending upon background) and an uncapped commission. Overall compensation expected to be 75-85K. Company benefits including health, vacation, participating 401K, and a great work environment with a growing organization.
- 1-3+ years’ experience in sales to nursing home facilities (LTC)
- Experience with long-term sales cycles
- 50-75% travel within region of Central and Southern Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin
- Basic computer knowledge, including using email, Microsoft suite, and database systems. Must be knowledgeable in the use Excel spreadsheets.
- Must be able to work independently and stay on task as most work will be done remotely
Responsibilities: : Managing all contacts, leads and meetings in the sales software program. Build and maintain a database of potential clients (Nursing Homes) from the assigned region. Seek out and build business partnerships and relationships with nursing homes. Developing interest from decision makers. Effectively use spreadsheets and other data management software to manage the region. Help develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the marketing plan for the organization.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher desired
Experience Requirements: 3+ yrs. of sales experience in LTC environment. Documented track record of success.
